Historic Kingston upon Thames is a vibrant, buzzing market town that boasts excellent retail, leisure and transport facilities.  The impressive Bentall Centre is home to over seventy five shops as well as its flagship department store.  The town is also home to a large John Lewis as well as several independent retailers, notably in the Old London Road district. Whether it’s browsing for antiques or shopping the latest technology, you’ll find what you’re looking for here in Kingston.

Asides from shopping, the town has other fantastic attractions, including the 900-seater Rose Theatre and the fourteen-screen multiplex, The Rotunda. The Kingfisher Leisure centre has a large pool and impressive gym facilities for those wanting to keep fit, and there are enough great restaurants around town to satisfy even the most demanding of foodies.

Kingston and Surbiton mainline stations are located in Zone 6, and Surbiton station boasts an average of ten trains per hour to London Waterloo, with fast trains getting you into central London in under nineteen minutes. Surbiton's Maple Road district is home to a mouthwateringly good patisserie and restaurant, as well as gastropubs and independent retailers.

The River Thames tow path extends alongside Surbiton and Kingston and continues to Richmond in one direction and Hampton Court in the other. Bars, cafes and beautiful views extend in both directions.

Surbiton Mainline Station makes travel to and from the area easy.
